Introducing Lucy (who makes all 'this' possible)

Hi, my name’s Lucy, and I’m the Personal and Administrative Assistant at Miller & Co. I’m here to give you a little glimpse into who we are, what we do, and what makes this place tick.

Miller & Co was started by Sophia with a pretty simple idea: to do things differently. We’re all about creating a space where learning isn’t just about ticking boxes but about fostering creativity, curiosity, and a real sense of connection.

My role keeps me behind the scenes most of the time, making sure everything runs smoothly—whether it’s juggling schedules, supporting the team, or finding ways to make our families’ lives easier.

But even from the background, I see firsthand the impact we’re having on our students and their families. It’s all about helping kids grow into confident, curious, and capable individuals, and that’s something I’m really proud to be part of.

What makes Miller & Co special is that we’re not just about traditional learning. Sure, we tick the curriculum boxes, but we’re also big believers in going beyond them. We bring education to life through hands-on experiences, tailored activities, and creative thinking. Whether it’s encouraging kids to dive into a new project or guiding them toward mindfulness practices, we’re all about nurturing their potential and celebrating their individuality.

For me, the idea of learning through experience really resonates. I’ve picked up more geography from traveling the world, more biology and physiology from my love of freediving, and more business know-how from starting my own than I ever did in a classroom. That’s the ethos we bring to our students—combining structured learning with real-world, practical experiences to make education exciting and meaningful.
